Moving checklist

6 months before moving

Cancel your current lease if you are presently a tenant and start looking for a new apartment.

Book a truck or moving service, or ask your strongest friends to reserve the date

Sort through your belongings and make a list of what you want to take with you

Start packing ! Protect fragile items and keep anything on hand that will be useful during the move

Reserve a parking space on the street

Inform your neighbors about the moving day to anticipate any potential inconvenience and make sure you have access to the new space

Empty the fridge and freezer. Unplug them and leave the door open

Have drinks and snacks on hand for you and your loyal friends
